Once more this comes from a RP. I changed it to where it was an accidental incident...though the later effects I had no idea how that could had been adjusted...Maybe Iloe gets fed up for being blamed and turns on Muka as a way to rid her frustration? I don't know. Iloe is mine, though this Muka is the namesake of my hamster.
P.S: The first line is not directed at Iloe.

"No one asked you." Muka's eyes flashed.
Iloe was beside Muka and glanced at him, biting her lip at his words to Kuba. Iloe shifted into her dog form and laid down, using her front paws to cover her ears as the volume increased around the cave, hurting her ears and making her feel uncomfortable.
Muka looked outside at the thunder. "Kellen, you can't make them leave in this gale!" he frowned. "The rains'll be torrential, we have to wait!"
"We can't AFFORD to wait!" Cory shouted at Muka.
"It's dawn! Where's the attack!" Muka snapped.
The noise got louder and Iloe had enough, if she stayed then she felt like she would flip out. Her episodes were rare, but could be serious. The dog slipped outside into the rain and paused, blinking away the wetness that fell onto her face and seeped into her thick fur. Iloe picked her way down to the shore where the dolphin shifters were huddled, scowling and muttering at being forced to take watch in such damp conditions. Iloe settled down amongst them, sighing softly as the pounding in her head was soothed by the low rumble of the storm.
Iloe turned her attention to the water and she blinked spotting a dolphin surface to breath before vanishing amongst the inky waves. Her attention drifted to one dolphin who was beside her and she nudged him. "I thought Muka said not to go into the water?" Iloe asked, blinking her eyes once more to remove the water. "He did...but Rolf has always had a habit of not listening to instructions...especially when he feels like he can get some more rank with some grand scene...it usually falls through," the dolphin muttered and rolled his eyes.
Iloe waited a bit, then carefully approached the edge of the water, careful to avoid the reach of the waves. She knew that storms were a dangerous time to be in the water and she knew that the swimming dolphins could possibly be harmed. She began barking at them, trying to make herself herd over the storm.
Muka knitted his brows together and looked away from them. "Idiots." he muttered, then noticed Iloe wasn't there. He arched a brow and peered around. Where had she gone?
A strong wind blew through Iloe's thick fur, chilling her skin and she shivered. Her gaze was fixed on the water where some of the swimmers obviously recognize the impending danger and returned to shore, but there were still five out there. Iloe took a deep breath and was ready to start another round of barks when a wave suddenly came over her and dragged her out to sea. Iloe yelped and paddled her paws a bit before she shifted into a white-sided dolphin and paused to considered what to do. She spotted the other dolphins and squeaked at them before her attention was caught by several forms that slowly swim from the gloom. Elites!
When the wave swept away the shifter, one of the pod hurried into the cave, unaware that Iloe could swim and suddenly alerted by the presence of enemy shifters in the sea. "Muka!" he called over the voices.
"What!" Muka snapped angrily. "Can't you see I'm busy?"
"Uh...those shifters are back.." the dolphin said and gulped a bit.
Muka frowned. "What does that matter? I ordered my pod to stay out of the water otherwise I'd fire them all." he turned around, eyes flashing dangerously. "Are you telling me they disobeyed?" He made fists with his hands.
"Rolf saw this as a chance to make you proud," the dolphin replied with a roll of his eyes. 'Or just make you pissed off beyond words,' he added silently knowing that this would be the result of Rolf's actions, as always. He tried to get some respect from his fellow podmates and captain, it usually backfired, and Muka would go off on him. Still it seemed that he didn't get it after the last few times.
Iloe tried to swim to shore, but she kept being caught by the retreating waves and pulled back into the sea. Iloe surfaced to breath and scowled. 'Goddess, please stop being so fickle and let us get out of this water before any harm is done.' she said quietly but suddenly dodged as one of the sharks shifted into a squid and shot towards her, one tentacle coming within an inch of her front flipper.
"They're all dead." Muka shoved passed him and outside the cave, leaving the others to argue, he leapt off the rocks and flew over the stormy waters as an African fish eagle then dove under the surf as a bottlenose. His sonar picked up on the sharks in the murky, churned water and he rammed one hard in the gills with his muzzle.
Rolf drew back from Muka's attack of his foe and caught a glimpse of anger in the captain's eyes and knew right then and there that he had taken it too far. He shifted into a narwhal and stabbed the shark with his tusk in the side.
Marico rushed over and rammed his beak into the squid's side, knocking it away from Iloe. The squid squirted its ink which blotted out their vision as the squid went down and shifted back into a shark to recalculate. It looked from the two dolphins over to the narwhal and dolphin who were fighting a shark, then at the barracuda that was nipping in to tears pieces off the third shark. Iloe blinked as the ink cleared and she could see, she went up to take a breath before diving back under and considered her options. She could try swimming for shore now that there were more dolphins than elites, but yet she wanted to be helpful. She decided to stay and fight.
Muka shifted into a sail fish and ripped around the shark, flipping it upside down to throw it into a paralyzed daze. "Take it out!" Muka snarled, he jetted to the new shark with his beak out like a lance. he flashed his sail fin, the markings on his scales changing from dots to stripes. He ran a slice from the shark's gills to his tail like a rapier.
"Yes sir." Rolf said and finished off the shark with his tusk, watching as it slowly drifting down into the dark depths with a trail of blood following it. He turned to help Muka with the next shark, but paused to check on Marico and Iloe who were being circled by the last shark, he then decided they could handle it and dove to help the captain.
Iloe's eyes drifted from the shark to gaze at the pattern change of Muka's sail, she was awed by the colors but quickly forced her mind to focus. 'Get to shore now, Muka is here and he can take care of this. Just get to land and it will be fine.' Her mind tried convincing her. Iloe's attention was on the last shark who charged towards Marico, the young dolphin shifted into a Koolasuchus and braced himself, but at the last moment the shark turned. Iloe suddenly squealed as she felt sharp teeth sink into her flank, just below her front flipper. Lightning lite up the water enough for her to see the plumes of blood pour from the injury.
"Hey!" Muka snarled, shifting into a bottlenose and slamming its head about in the water. "Get them out!" he snarled at Rolf, he went back to attacking the shark, shifting back into a sailfish to slash and stab at the soft belly.
Rolf turned and sharped to help Marico remove the shark from the female shifter. The Koolasuchus struggled to make it release its grasp but didn't want to risk ripping it off and causing more damage. Rolf shifted into a dolphin and swam down before he came back up and began to push Iloe towards the surface so that she could at least get air then he turned and shifted back into a narwal and began stabbing at the shark with his tusk, trying to make it release her as well.
"Hey!" Muka flipped around and shifted human, holding his breath. He pulled the 14 inch diving knife strapped to his heel and sliced off the right dorsal fin of the shark. The water clouded with blood and he slammed the blade hilt-deep into the shark's head.
Iloe felt the teeth loosen from her side and wiggled desperately, seeing plumes of blood drift from the wound in her side. After a little more wiggling she felt herself freed but she hovered in the water as blood poured from the injury, shock and blood loss slowly weakening her. Rolf went down and began to push her back up to the surface while Marico went on ahead to get help ready. "Come on," Rolf muttered as he tried to help the female dolphin to the surface but he was having troubles. "Captain," he called out to Muka for assistance.
Muka held the knife in his teeth and shifted dolphin, swimming up to them and pumping his tail to get them to the surface. He gasped for air through his blow hole and pushed them towards shore, there was a line of guards ready to pass them on. He shifted human and picked up Iloe, sloshing up onto the beach and pushing her into the hands of a burly guard. "Nzuri!" he shouted. He spun around, eyes blazing as he looked to Rolf, Marico and the others. "You're all fired." he hissed, half-tone eyes blazing. He turned and followed the rest inside, knife still in his hand.
Iloe shifted a human as they got to the surface and clutched her side, she could feel a thicker wetness that was blood for no water was like it. She rested her head against Muka's chest and tried to tell him what had happened, but her throat stung from the salt water and she decided to save it for later.
Muka stalked past the other, fuming and dripping wet. "Where's the rest of my damn pod!" He snarled into the cave, all of you on the beach! NOW!" he slashed the rocks with his knife, sending up angry sparks.
Nzuri left Kellen's side and hurried to help Iloe. She pressed a lap sponge of gauze against her wounds. "Angani! I need sedation!" she snapped at her nurse. Angani ran off to fetch a medical bag.
The other dolphins stood up and quickly filed outside, knowing better to keep Muka waiting when he was in one of his moods. One paused to look at Rayou, considering if it would be wise to bring the injured dolphin outside but a shake from a nurse made him turn and follow the others out, though somebody would fill Rayou in on the details later.
Iloe whimpered from the pressure being put onto her injured side, she was light-headed from the loss of blood and closed her eyes. "Wait," she winced at how ragged her words sounded, "I need to tell Muka..." her eyes over and she struggled to sit up in order to locate the dolphin captain. But she couldn't see him anywhere in the cave.
"Don't move, you lost a lot of blood, the bleeding's under control but you need stitches." she took the syringe from Angani. "You'll be out for a little while, when you wake up you won't be in as much pain." Nzuri clean a spot then injected her with the sedative.
Muke glared at his pod as the rain fell in sheets. "Anyone want to tell me what my orders were regarding any member of my pod going into the water?" he sheathed his diving knife. "Anyone at all." he hissed scathingly. "Because maybe, some of you are deaf!" he pointed at the five distant members. "They broke the rules and were attacked! Just like I said! And Iloe's badly injured, they're all BANNED from the pod as of now." he snorted. "Anyone else want to test me or are we quite CLEAR that NO ONE goes in the water until I give the ok!" he shouted. "I'm so sickened with you I half wished you have been bitten too, then you could have a scar reminding you of your own stupidity!"
Iloe bit her lip, not from the pain but the prospect of getting a injection, she was not fond of needles or shots but she knew she had to accept it. She didn't want to be another burden for the Keepers and she had a feeling that Muka wanted her to get better. As the drug started taking affect Iloe fought against it. She had so much she wanted to say, mainly concerning telling Muka what happened and revealing her true feelings for him. She then sighed and allowed herself to drift into sleep.

So Close!
Part of the Keeper RP. For some reason I decided to do Ranya's parts because this actually could had been the chance where she got the man that she kind has been obsessing over for...about 200 years. Ranya belongs to me, but the parts of Emery and Alan belongs to Skidar. The Finch...kind of is a shadow who had no real RPer.
~~~~~
A ginger form slipped through the snow and came to a stop beside Alan, her peridot gaze sharp with interest. "Well, well, what do we have here?" Ranya ran her gaze over Alan, admiring the shifter up close without fear of him striking her. "The great Master cowering like a newborn babe in the snow? That sounds not right at all." Ranya sat down and cocked her head while her tai wrapped around her paws. "You poor little boy," she said with a soft sigh, "you been through so much...and you need somebody. Somebody to care for you..." her eyes sparked with an inner flame, "somebody worthy."
Alan heard the voice but didn't open his eyes, letting the snow cover him, bury him. It couldn't fall fast enough. He life felt like it was drying out like an older marker, soon there would be nothing left. No more line.
Ranya scowled as she looked down at him, almost disgusted by the sight of the powerful shifter that she desired reduced to a pitiful shivering fool. She knelt down in the snow, ignoring the chill and carefully reached towards him, her hand brushing against his cool cheek. The simple touch sent a shiver of delight running through her body. This could be her chance, finally after all these years she would have her master shifter, the only man worthy enough to be her mate.
"Ally, it'll be okay," Ranya purred softly. "Let's get you somewhere nice and warm, I don't want you to freeze." She cooed.
"Hold on." he saw a finch and shifted into a laughing falcon and caught it on the wing and landed in the snow. "Where's Alan Pike!" he chittered angrily.
"Lemme go!"
"I'm a shrike at heart, I'll skewer you if you don't tell us!"
"That way! Some older guy!" he squeaked.
Emery let him go and pointed ahead. "Come on!" he shifted into a dog and ran alongside her. A mile or so later he saw Ranya standing over his slumped form.
"HEY!" Emery snarled and ran up to her with hackles bristled. "Back off!" he stood over Alan defensively.
Ranya gritted her teeth as she was forced away from the master. She glared at Emery then at Lilah, feeling a clench in her gut at the almost similar features...it made her sick to see a girl who was named after her. Her venom-green gaze looked longingly at Alan and she growled in her throat.
Keeper Song Fic- Iloe: Lead Sails and a Paper Anchor
Marching alone, like a good soldier does
I'm setting sail, with anchors holding me down
Pack up my bags, stow them away
I'm bidding farewell to all that is safe
~~~~
A frozen bay loomed in front of the group of weary shifters. They had fled the Taiga Kingdom and were one step closer to achieving the goal of their journey...a new home. But they did not expect this. As far as the eye could see there was nothing but nice but yet it seemed solid. But even if it were not there was few options, supplies were limited, if they lingered then it would not be long before losses began. The Keepers began the long journey across the frozen bay, carefully testing the ice. At the back of the group marched a lone shifter. Iloe. After making sure the younger shifters were safe, she let herself drift back to the very back of the group. She felt like she belonged there. On the edge of them.
~~~~
Will I come up for air, come up for air
After awhile the current is calling me
Lulling me, waving goodbye
I'm out here alone, oh God can you save me now?
Sinking my heart turns to stone
~~~~
Iloe's gaze was on the ground. Through the ice she could detect the faint ripples of the current below the ice. The surface may had been frozen, but under the glistening white shield the ocean was doing its daily course. The thought made her think back to the stories from her home, the tales of the Goddess who wore a coat of deep blue and white, was the Goddess here even though it was cold? The shifter was comforted by the thought. She may spoke of Niti, but Iloe truly believed in only one deity, the Great Goddess of the Isles. Her steps were slow as she kept thinking, wondering, hoping. Iloe desperately wanted something that she knew would care for her, that could understand her.
Her mind was wiped blank as she felt the ice react beneath her feet. The sound of ice cracking sounded around her and then Iloe was plunged into the cold sea. Before she vanished, she heard the cries of the other Keepers who turned at once at the sound, but she was already gone.
~~~~
Withering away, a shrinking violet dies
So full of life, these lights have dried me out
Into the sea, I needed a drink
I never thought this would consume me whole
~~~~
For a moment Iloe sunk into the deep blue, her eyes wide and confused as she took in the strange watery world in which she found herself. But then instinct plus the sight of the hole where she had fallen shone above her like a beacon, a promise of safety. Iloe began to move her paws towards it and discovering that the ice trapped air bubbles, she inhaled a few precious gulps of air but then let herself float. Her eyes were watching the hole in the ice and beyond it the crisp stars in the night sky. A few air bubbles escaped her mouth and floated to the ceiling.
~~~~
Sinking my heart turns to stone
(I turn to stone)
Over and over again
Save me, take me home
Wishing that this all would end
Save me, take me home
Over and over again
~~~~~
Iloe felt the current that she had observed through the ice gently move her. It was not fast, nor was it too slow. It was gentle, like a mother...could it be? Iloe heard of people who drowned in the waters of the Isles, drowning was a terrifying darkness that lingered over those who chose the sea. The Goddess was the true power and she alone decided the fortune or misfortune. The tales of drowning varied depending on the person. But most agreed that the Goddess made the death easy, gently lulling the person into eternal slumber. A promise that their work was done and that they will be honored.
Iloe's head turned then her eyes widened. Could it be? A woman floated beside her, her hair was long and flowing in waves. She wore a gown that seemed made of the water that surrounded them and at times seemed to swirl around her. The woman had a smile that radiated warmth and her eyes were gentle. Iloe felt her heart pound in her chest as she gazed at the Goddess in awe and felt complete calm come over her.

She could feel the life slowly ebbing away from her. Her heart slowly was lulling towards eternal stillness. There were so many that she would miss. Dear little Winnie, the children, her grandmother (and maybe a little of her mother). She hated that she would tell them good-bye before her soul went with the Goddess, but yet she knew this was common when you entered the water sleep. Good-byes were too painful and would only keep her soul back to the world, she would not be able to go to Paradise or, what she wanted the most, become one of the Star Dancers. But most of all...she would miss Kweekum. Kweekum...if she was not surrounded by water then she would mourn for the fact that he would be alone, their bond would be severed...she hated to think of the pain that would cause. Stories told of how dolphins who lost their human could not live onward. Their purpose in life had been taken and now there was nothing left. Some refused to eat and slowly wasted away, others purposely beached themselves, letting the sun take them as the ocean took their friend, others simply refused to surface and drowned themselves.

Iloe was ready. She was at peace, calm and in the stillness of a quiet place. The Goddess was there beside, ready to take her into her gentle embrace and take her to the next part of her life journey. There was people she would miss, but she was ready to go. She no longer wanted to fight for pain. Just let it all go.
Her eyes slipped closed.
~~~~
Wishing that all this would end
~~~~
Teeth sunk into her scruff and she was roughly hauled upward. There was a splash as her head came above water, her lungs ached as massive gulps of fresh, cold air forced its way in. Iloe coughed harshly, water spewing from her lips and then she was on the ice. Voices swirled around her but Iloe could not hear them. Her peaceful world was shattered and she almost felt the Goddess shriek beneath the ice, deprived of one of her children coming back home.
Iloe heard the voices of the Keepers she knew, but her mind was numb and her eyes stared unseeing at the ice. The Keepers had done a great act of blasphemy. She could not speak to them.

One Chance
Iloe was fuming silently but hide it by tending to the young shifters who had now taken to resting close to her. That dolphin was grating her nerves more than ever and she was sick of it. She hated being drawn to the biggest asshole of the Keepers, but something always seemed to make her go to him.
But this time he went too far! Iloe hated people who placed wrongful blame and also she hated people who shirked her talents. As if any of these shifters could do what she could do from her experiences as a meerkat. She wanted to help out, to rebuild the reputation that had been left in tatters...thanks to Muka.
Iloe left the young shifters sleeping in a pile and went over to where the dolphin captain was sitting. Her gray-blue eyes were cool and when she spoke her voice was firm. "You say I'm disrespectful to you, but perhaps you should know the reason why." Iloe glared at him. "Being a captain does not mean automatic respect when your actions do not deserve it. You may be a Captain and you pod may respect you, but a civilian will only respect those that earn it."
"Kuba is my best example. You blamed him for the death of your pod mate, you blamed him for something he had no control over!" She glared at Muka. "Do you think he knows how to defend off shark shifters? Do you think he knew what to do as he was being attacked? He never experienced this. He only panicked because the ambush was unexpected, I don't think anyone would think it would happen...I want to know that I can trust a captain who can understand that some tragedies could not be helped. But yet we only lost three shifters that day...less than what we lost during the Falls collapse."
Iloe was quiet for a moment, except to let a sigh release from her lips. "As for my own problems I am not unstable. You don't understand how hard it is. I kept these emotions suppressed for too long, this is probably the one thing I hate about being off the Isles. But prove to me that you are worthy of my respect and I will try harder to reign in my negative emotions."
Gray-blue eyes locked on two-toned blue. "Right now I respect Cory. He is a jerk most of the time, but yet he also has stood by my side many times and for that I am thankful and gladly give him my respect. But I will not let anyone hurt others. I don't care if you are Captain or King. I won't tolerate it, citizen or not."
The shifter gave a sigh. "Please Muka...I know I messed up and...I don't won't to join your Corps. Military stuff is not my cup of tea. I just want you to like me...at first it was that I wanted to make it up to Rayou because I should had shifted vulture. Perhaps if I had not stuck to a pathetic little sea slug then I could had warned everyone ahead of time...and Rayou would still had two working fins." Her eyes dropped.
"I just want a chance Muka. I don't want to join your Corps or any military area. To me it is really boring and I would rather watch the little terrors who need somebody since most of their parents were lost. But I just want another chance, to prove myself to you. If you give me that chance...then I will try to do the things you mentioned."
"Just one more chance is all."
"Just one more chance is all."

Birth of Brechin
Yelena huddled in the room where she was forced to take shelter as during the conflict. Only the true royal family were allowed in the Siege palace, her position as princess meant nothing as she was only royalty by marriage. The shifter was afraid for her mate, but also for herself and the biggest concern...her unborn.
Yelena shifted between forms trying to get comfortable despite the swell in her belly. She finally shifted into her hind form and laid down, her snowy belly fur gently pressing against the cool tile of these lower rooms. Yelena was worried about Brences, her beautiful stag. She did not care about Rurik, the old king was a hard man, she hated him with every inch of her being, but she wanted him to live...for her mate would get some more time before it happened.
The smooth body stirred a bit, then some more. The doe was trying to get comfortable without really thinking much about it. But slowly she grew more restless and squirmed, trying to adjust her position to take less pressure off her baby. Natural instinct slowly came into play, forcing the hind onto her feet with pain in her eyes. It was time that a new royal came into the world.
Yelly stood there, her flanks heavy from the spasms of birth. Her neck dropped as she winced, such pain this was. All other thought was gone. The conflict with the outsiders, worries about her own safety. Yelena was in her own world, the world of a mother trying to bring life into the world.
The young mother might had been blanked out to the world, but not the servants who were set there by Brences to keep her safe. One instantly hurried off to inform the third prince that he was soon to be a father.
Yelena trembled against Brences. The hind was laying down once more as she began the task of pushing. Her coat was damp with sweat and her swollen belly shook with intense spasms. The birth was long and tense and Yelena was growing exhausted which meant risk to mother and child. When she felt her mate's tongue across her forehead, the hind weakly raised her head to rub against Brences's throat sack. The tender gesture was short-lived as Yelly cried out and then her body slumped, her neck resting on the soft cushions that a servant had fetched to give her some comfort during her labor. Despite her soreness and exhaustion, Yelena lifted her head and turned to peer at the little life that she brought into the world. The small red deer fawn laid still, covered in blood and other fluids which stained one of the old blankets lying under it. Its flank was still, it's body was motionless. Yelly couldn't help but fear the worst, did her long labor end up killing the precious calf? Once more natural instinct took over. The hind began licked the tiny mass. Gently rasping her tongue over the delicate body, she was now trying to make it draw air, to live. The fawn didn't respond but Yelly kept licking and then she felt the stir as the fawn's body awoke. Air began to fill the tiny lungs and then bright eyes blinked over. The calf rolled onto his stomach and sat there. Twitching his large ears and lightly flicking his tiny tail. His eyes widened at the new scents that greeted him though what they were he had yet to learn. Yelena kept her gentle cleaning, slowly wiping away the blood to reveal a woolly fawn coat that was a lovely shade of red and spattered with little white spots. The fawn's own instincts began to come into play. The little animal slowly began to try standing up, but his first attempt failed, as did his second and third try. It was the fourth that he was able to stand, splay-legged, with his tiny form trembling as he got use to his balance. The next step was...well steps. A few wobbles resulted in a reward, his first drink of his mother's milk.
Yelena rested against Brences, watching as the little calf was asleep. After filling his belly, he had looked around the room; he looked at his father, the servants, the snowflakes outside the windows. Once his exploring was satisfied, the fawn drank some more then settled down for a nap. Yelly was more focused on another thing. A name for their little son. While she was resting she had thought about good names but none could fit. But it came to her almost instantly and she gazed at her mate then focused on their child. "Your name shall be Brechin."

Meerkat Games
Iloe carefully maneuvered herself, her jaws clutching the tool with care. It tasted horrible, but she did not mind as it would not be in her mouth much longer. Once she was out of the zone, she sat it down and looked around, her eyes scanning the area around their new home, looking for a suitable hiding spot.
This was part of a game she had developed. Sneaking into the house where Elroy and Nico did their work, and sneaking off with Nico's tools then hiding them. It was hide and seek and...it seemed Nico never suspected that she was the culprit. She chose her hiding places with care, up some trees, on roofs, or her favorite, burying them. Lo made sure they would be relatively easy to find, not too easy as it would ruin the fun, but enough to have some challenge.
Little meerkat eyes trailed around and she spotted a good place. The library! Nico would never think to look there naturally. She shifted into a silky Sifaka and took off through the trees, a little white ghost darting through the foliage. She shifted back into a meerkat and wiggled her way inside, her treasure clutched tightly.
It was relatively dark, though a few lanterns were on. She shifted into her Australian shepherd form to sniff the air. She detected the scents of books, freshly copied and put together by the two shifters that were now in charge. Iloe knew she now had to make sure to hide it without Kerwin or Sacha finding it as it would be a wasted effort of her fun.
Iloe trotted down the aisles, her eyes taking in the sights and searching. She paused and smiled.
Found it.
~~~~ Colorful cursing came from the direction of the shop.
Iloe grinned to herself from where she was by the window. Her eyes drifting between the youngsters who were eating their breakfast, with her three helpers helping the smaller ones, and in the direction of the hut where Nico and Elroy did their work. The sounds obviously said that her plan was a success.
Her eyes lifted to the window seeing a very pissed off Nico in his monkey form. "Where is it?!" he chattered angrily. Iloe's face was innocent and sweet as she replied. "What?" "You know what! where is it?" he glared around as if expecting that she had hidden it in the dining room of the Nursery. "I have no idea of what you're talking about," Iloe replied calmly, her poker face setting in. They bounced back and forth, Nico getting madder, but Iloe being sweet and oblivious and finally the monkey boy left. The orphans had been watching the exchange curiously. "What was that for?" a little rabbit asked, the others exchanging looks of puzzle and slight fear, Nico was fun but he sometimes scared them. "Oh it's nothing," Iloe assured her, joining her and giving a little nuzzle between her ears. "Nico is always losing things, pay him no mind."
~~~~
In the library, the two caretakers were now awake and were doing their rounds. Kerwin walked along the hall towards the reference books and came to a halt, his eyes widen. Before him two books were laying haphazardly on the floor and on the shelf they came from the books were put in poorly. That would not do. He called Sacha over and the two went to work. The exiled prince suddenly frowned when his hand bumped against something. "What in the world..." he muttered and pulled out the tool. Kerwin blinked in confusion and looked around, how did that get in here? He wouldn't expect Nico or even Elroy just to go around putting their tools in weird places...could it been Emery? He shook his head, not him. Kerwin carefully took it and headed outside. "Nico!" he called and the monkey boy appeared before him. "Thank Niti...where was it?" the other shifter said as he shifted from monkey to human. "In the library, somebody hide it under the reference books."
~~~~
Iloe was grinning. She was sitting on top of the Nursery's root, it was a good place to catch some rays and to observe. She saw Nico heading for the library and smiled to herself. He looked ticked, but he couldn't possibly guessed it was her. She was already planning her next game. When Nico turned to glare at her she only gave him a smile and waved a paw before she dropped back inside.
Opening
This is based off a role-play I was a part of. Since...it is sadly at its end, I will keep my characters alive in my stories which are my unique version of art, I like to draw, but I prefer to draw and paint with words as I feel it provides me a better outlet to show my thoughts.
My stories will mainly be oneshots that involves my characters which can be found below.
Iloe: 25 year old female shifter from a strange place she calls The Isles. Iloe (or Lo) was born a human but her first shift (and favorite) form is a meerkat. Her other forms are Egyptian vulture, Australian Shepherd (blue merle), a prehistoric cheetah like cat, a dolphin, then a sea slug...She is quite unusual that she was naturally born with periwinkle hair and has gray-blue eyes.
Eowyn 'Winnie': I'm still considering her age, but she is very small and was born a bat. All her shifts are mainly centered around bat forms. She is very shy and quiet and is scared of raptors like hawks and eagles.
Yelena 'Yelly': Fairly new and one that I been considering her depth but haven't gotten much. Yelly is a Russian shifter and is mated to one of the six princes, Brences, who is now King. Her main form is a red deer hind like her mate but she has the forms of a Russian sable marten, an Ural owl, a Bactrian Camel, and a dog. Yelena is the mother to hers and Brences' son, Brechin.
